The Cultivating Technical Readiness Program
Project Management
Spearheading this project, the ultimate goal of the Cultivating Technical Readiness (CTR) Program is to support members of Virginia Union University's Anchor Community by providing sponsorship for Digital Skills Training and IT Internships through NTIA's CMCPP Grant.
Mini Games
Developed a series of small interactive games as part of my portfolio to showcase engaging interactive experiences. These games demonstrate my ability to understand algorithms and logic, as well as critical thinking skills necessary to do well in this line of work.
IT Hub Webpage + Admin Portal for sign-ins
This IT Hub is a centralized hub for finding the many links to the different applications our IT department utilizes daily, as well as links to the applications I've developed for my department’s use.
This video showcases the IT hub, as well as the admin portal staff see for when a student signs in.
IT Student Sign In
This is a video of the Sign-In page students use when they enter the VUU IT Help Desk which notifies staff when they arrive along with their request for assistance.
IT Inventory WebApp
This webapp helps manage the IT department’s equipment inventory. It allows staff to add, update, and track equipment efficiently.
The previous procedure was manual counts without a change log. This system keeps a digital record of all equipment and removals.
IT Loaner Equipment WebApp
Tracks loaned equipment (mainly laptops) assigned to staff.
Replaces paper sign-outs with a digital workflow showing who has what and when items return.
Courses by Term WebApp
This is a web app I created utilizing the Canvas Live API to assist the Office of the Provost at Virginia Union University with streamlining reporting on unpublished courses before new terms begin to better hold faculty accountable as well as staying with compliance with SACSCOC standards in providing quality higher education.
HR Training Reports WebApp
This is a web app I created utilizing the Canvas Live API to assist the Human Resources department at Virginia Union University to centralize and simplify data retrieval for the many different training and onboarding courses employees are tasked with completing.
Band Management WebApp
This webapp was developed for the Thomas Jefferson High School Marching Band.
This application helps the band director manage student information, attendance, event scheduling, and communication.
Currently in development!
Mock Cafeteria App
Built for VUU’s Processes, Systems & Technology course (Sydney Lewis School of Business, 2025–2026). Students created a proposal and I was the “contracted” developer who built the app and trained them to manage it as admins. Students then presented to a panel as part of their final grade.
