My passion for technology started early through PC gaming—especially World of Warcraft. Experiencing how software connects people sparked a curiosity that grew into a lifelong commitment to building reliable, user-focused systems.
I studied Computer Science at Virginia Union University (2019–Spring 2020, Fall 2021–Spring 2024) and graduated in May 2024. Before graduating, I served as the Digital Skills Program Manager, helping design and lead VUU’s Cultivating Technical Readiness initiative, funded by NTIA’s Connecting Minority Communities (CMCP) Pilot Program grant.
In March 2025, I transitioned from project management into the Learning Management System (LMS) space, becoming VUU’s Instructional Technologist and LMS Administrator. I also support Client Services as a Level II Support Technician while completing my M.S. in Computer Science. In these roles, I build software and internal tools that streamline IT operations and improve reporting for campus stakeholders. In regard to my technical expertise, my core strengths include full-stack web and application development and database management
Outside of work, I maintain open-source projects on GitHub, contribute software used across my organization, and am developing a 2D game with friends. I’m a proud sister of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc., and a brother of Snare S.I. Phi Percussion Fraternity. Additionally, I serve part-time as the drumline instructor for the Thomas Jefferson Highschool, Spirit of Richmond Marching Band and assist with writing the percussion music for their shows.
Lastly, when I’m off the clock, you’ll still find me enjoying time with family, friends, and the occasional game.
